Meizu M3S with 13MP Camera & 3020mAh Battery Launched in China

As announced earlier, Meizu launched its latest entry-level smartphone Meizu M3S (a.k.a Meizu M3 Metal) today in China. Earlier the company launched the Meizu M3 and M3 Note while the M3 Note is also made available in the Indian market at Rs. 9,999. The design of the Meizu M3S looks similar to Meizu M3 but comes with a metal body instead of polycarbonate shell. There is also fingerprint sensor embedded into the physical home button on the front.

It features a 5-inch HD (1280×720 pixels) display and comes equipped with MediaTek MT6750 octa-core processor clocked at 1.5GHz. The device comes with 2GB/3GB of RAM with 16GB/32GB of onboard storage and also includes a microSD card slot for further expansion upto 128GB. The smartphone features a hybrid sim slot with the dual sim dual standby support that can also be used as a microSD card slot instead of the second sim.

Unlike the Meizu M3, the M3S runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop based Flyme OS laid on top. The smartphone will sport a 13MP autofocus rear camera with LED flash and a 5MP front-facing camera for selfies. Both the cameras are capable of recording videos in 1080p resolution. The device will come backed by a 3,020mAh battery that will easily take you through the day of mixed usage.
