ElePhone launches Mi Mix like Bezel-Less Smartphone S3 Lite at $164.99

The Chinese manufacturer company, Elephone is well known for launching the handsets with decent specifications at an affordable price in range. Recently, the company had launched the Elephone S7 & Elephone S7 Mini smartphone that came with bezel-less screen and priced at $209 and $159. Now, the company has come up with another smartphone to its portfolio which is called as Elephone S3 Lite.

It is the lighter version of Elephone S3 smartphone that was launched last year. It is priced at $164.99 and is now available to buy on Elephonestore. This smartphone also comes with a full metal body design with 3D curved glass which offers end-to-end screen like Elephone S3 smartphone. The other bezel-less smartphone are available in the market such as ZTE Nubia Z11, Sharp Aquos Crystal Y2, Elephone P9000 Edge and Serendipity S7.

Coming to specifications, this smartphone sports 5.2-inch in Full cell Lamination display which is the same display on Elephone S3 smartphone. It has a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels and offers 423 PPI of pixel density which gives better viewing angles even in the sunlight. Under the hood, it comes powered by MediaTek MT6735 quad-core processor that clocks at 1.3 GHz paired with Mali T720 GPU. It runs on the outdated Android 5.1 Lollipop out of the box.

Powering the entire smartphone is a 2100mAh Lithium Polymer battery which gives a talk time up to 8 hours and lasts a standby time around 150 hours. It has a fingerprint sensor which is locating below to the rear camera for unlocking the device. Coming to storage, this smartphone houses a 16GB internal memory with an option to increase the memory up to 128GB via microSD card slot and is accompanied by 2GB of RAM.

Regarding the camera, it bears a 13 MP Sony IMX135 sensor with Autofocus, Touch focus and LED flash that can record videos in 1080p at 30 frames per second. On the front, there is a 5MP selfie camera for capturing selfies and video calling. Sensors on the device include Accelerometer sensor, P-sensor, and L-sensor. It will be available in Iron Grey, Champagne Gold, and Silver color variants. It supports dual SIM dual standby and offers 4G LTE network and the other connectivity options include Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, Micro-USB port and 3.5mm audio jack.

Recently, Xioami also launched the edge-to-edge display that is called as Mi Mix that is priced at $716 and with coupon code is available for $658.99. The Elephone S3 Lite smartphone does nowhere close to the Xiaomi’s Mi Mix Smartphone, but the Chinese brand is promoting the bezel-less display through the photos we are seeing the press renders. The press renders are generally computer generated and not the actual photos and hence it is quite possible that there could be a good sized bezel and you should be waiting for the actual photos or videos of this phone.
