Samsung Galaxy A3 (2017) Smartphone running Android 6.0 Marshmallow spotted again
Over the past few weeks, a new set of Samsung Galaxy devices is making brief appearances online. Previously we saw the leaked images of the Galaxy A5 2017 post which we spotted the Galaxy A3 2017 as well online. And now yet again, the Galaxy A3 2017 has been spotted online showing off some of the specs which it will come with. Yes, this time, the Samsung Galaxy A3 2017 has made a brief appearance on Geekbench website. Now talking about the specs of this smartphone, this unit which carries a model number SM-A320F carries an Exynos 7870 chipset under the hood.
This is an octa-core CPU which is clocked at 1.59GHz. It also packs 2GB of RAM and it runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow out of the box as well. That’s all the specs we have to be reported from this recent spotting. Well, with these set of specs, the device managed to put a single-core score of 751 and a multi-core score of 4071. The score appears to be decent enough for the smartphone which is targetted towards the mid-ranged budget-centric market. And as far as the other specs go, from the past rumours we have learned that it will come with a 4.7-inch display with a 720 x 1280 (HD) resolution.
And judging by the last gen’s variant, we can also expect it to come with decent camera optics as well. And talking about the last year’s variant, it is worth noting that the A3 2016 was launcehd back in December 2015 and hence we will not be surprised if this smartphone is officially hitting the streets by next month. Earlier – Earlier we reported that Samsung is going to continue the Galaxy A Series for the year 2017 as well. If you don’t know this, Samsung launches three new smartphones in this series called the A3, A5 and the A7. These are some of the mid-ranged offerings from the company with some decent specs. Following the earlier report, we saw some leaks and rumours about the Galaxy A5 2017 and the A7 2017 recently. And now we have some details of the Galaxy A3 2017 as well. The Samsung Galaxy A3 (2017) has been spotted on the GFXBench benchmarking website.
Taking a look at the specs of the device, we have some of the key specs of the device revealed. It appears that the device is going to come with a 4.7-inch display on the front. This is same as that we have in the existing variant of the device. It is going to be powered by an octa-core 1.5GHz processor and it packs 2GB of RAM & 8GB of onboard internal storage. In terms of the camera, we are looking at a 12-megapixel rear facing shooter and a 7-megapixel front facing selfie shooter, which is good for 1080p video recording. As per the listing, the device should be running Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow out of the box.
The previously spotted Galaxy A5 2017 variant sports a 5.5-inch FHD display on the front and is powered by an octa-core 1.8GHz CPU with 3GB of RAM. As per the listing, it will carry a 16-megapixel sensor on both front and back of the device, which is quite interesting to see in a mid-ranged device like this. It is expected that the company is going to make these devices better than the last year’s variant.
