Verykool Phantom SL5050 Smartphone announced with 1GB RAM & 2500 mAh Battery
Verykool Phantom SL5050 is a new entry level device that has been announced by Verykool. Verykool is known for making tablets, mobile phone and few other accessories by InfoSonics Corporation with headquartered in San Diego, California. The company sells its product over 20 countries across the world and recently there were many devices released under the Verykool brand like the Verykool Cyprus JR S6004, Verykool Lotus Plus S5007, Verykool Jet SL5009 and many other devices. Moreover, there are few feature phones like Verykool Coral II 1134, Verykool R28 Denali and few more.
The Verykool Phantom SL5050 comes with a 5-inch HD AMOLED-LCD Capacitive touchscreen display with Asahi Dragontrail Tempered Glass protection on top and with a pixel density of 294PPI. Under the hood, there is a MediaTek MT6737 quad-core processor with a clocking speed of 1.3GHz coupled with 1GB of RAM and Mali T720 GPU. The handset will come out of the box with Android 6.0 Marshmallow and might also get further updates in the future.
Coming to the camera, there is a 16MP Autofocus rear facing sensor with LED flash and it is accompanied with 8MP camera in the front for video calling. On the back, there is a Li-Po 2500 mAh battery, and there is an onboard memory of 16 GB which can be further extended up to a maximum of 64GB via microSD card.
The handset will support 4G LTE CAT 4 connectivity, and it is also a dual SIM variant. There are sensors like Accelerometer, Gravity, Proximity, Light, and Magnetometer. The device weights 145.5 mm x 70.5 mm x 7.15 mm and weights 121 grams. There are other connectivity options like Bluetooth v4.0 LE, Wi-Fi, USB Tethering, USB 2.0 and Wi-Fi hotspots.
Looking at the specs, the device will compete against devices like, Lenovo A2010, Micromax Canvas A1, Samsung Tizen Z3. Infocus M260, Xolo Era 4G, Asus Zenfone Go and Lava P7 which are in the market from quite a time now.
