Imoo from BBK Electronics to Launch World’s First Educational Smartphone

BBK is one of the largest Original Device Manufacturer (ODM) in the China. Apart from manufacturing for other brands, the company has some of the leading Chinese brands under its belt. The OPPO and Vivo, which had made into the top 5 global largest smartphone brands, are from BBK. Even the most trending the smartphone, OnePlus, which had recently launched the 6GB RAM smartphone OnePlus 3 is also from BBK. The list doesn’t stop here; BBK had announced a new smartphone brand called “imoo” for launching educational smartphones.

Since there is no clear information about what educational smartphone mean, we need to wait until the official launch. The first device is expected to be called “imoo learning phone” and will be officially launched on June 24th in China. From the teaser image, we can see the device to feature complete metal build body. It just looks like any other high-end smartphone with a slim body and antenna line on top and bottom. On the teaser image, the company also mentioned that all the 20 years experience is used for making the imoo learning phones.

This is not the first time BBK has chosen a specific group for their smartphone brands; the OPPO smartphones are marketed as the Camera phones while Vivo smartphone are mentioned as Hi-Fi devices. The OPPO with its best smartphone camera experience attracts the photography lovers while the Vivo devices with its Hi-Fi sound output attracts music lovers.
