Samsung Galaxy J3 Pro with 5″ AMOLED Display & 2GB RAM Launched in China

galaxy j3 pro launched

A couple of months back, Samsung launched the Galaxy J3 2016 here in India with a unique S Bike mode. Now, the company came up with a new upgraded variant called Galaxy J3 Pro. The device was priced at 999 Yuan (approx $152 / Rs. 10,200) and comes in Gold and Gray color options. The Galaxy J3 pro sports a 5-inch Super AMOLED display with HD (1280 x 720) resolution. It runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop with TouchWiz UI overlaid. Unlike the Galaxy J3, the Galaxy J3 Pro looks more premium with the metal like finish.

The device is powered by the 64-bit Snapdragon 410 quad-core processor along with Adreno 306 GPU for graphics. It includes 2GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage and a MicroSD card slot. It has an 8MP rear camera with f/2.0 aperture and a 5MP selfie camera on the front. It is a Dual SIM handset which supports 4G LTE connectivity. The entire package is powered by 2,650 mAh battery which might last at least for a single day of usage. The Galaxy J3 Pro is definitely more powerful the previous version and the specs look really decent for the price point.

As of now, it will be only available in the Chinese market and you can buy it through China Telecom, one of China’s largest carriers, soon. The pricing and availability are unknown for the international markets along with India, but we presume the company will announce it’s expanded availability for this smartphone in coming weeks and we will update soon. At this price range, there are much more powerful devices like 360 N4, Xiaomi Redmi Note 3, and LeEco Le 2. The 360 N4 is priced at 899 Yuan and comes with Helio X20 deca-core processor and 4GB RAM.

Stay tuned for more updates!
