Hyve Mobility is an Indian smartphone brand that has debuted the market in June this year by launching the Hyve Buzz and Hyve Storm smartphones. Today, the company has sent out the media invites for the launch of its new smartphone on November 9th. It will be launched in an exclusive partnership with the Taiwanese chipmaker MediaTek. The upcoming device is also said to offer stock Android experience with the Google certification. As mentioned at the launch event of the first two smartphones, the company will offer a one-year manufacturer warranty, insurance, and pickup and drop service for the upcoming smartphone as well.

Even the earlier launched smartphones – Buzz and Storm also came with MediaTek processors. Both the smartphones offer 4G LTE for faster data speeds. The Hyve Buzz is priced at Rs. 13,999 while the Hyve Storm sports a price tag of Rs. 8,499. These devices are sold online through major stores like Flipkart and Amazon. The mid-range Hyve Buzz comes with a 5.5-inch Full HD display and includes MediaTek MT6753 octa-core processor clocked at 1.5Ghz. It has 3GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage. There is a 13MP rear camera with dual tone LED flash and 5MP front camera for selfies.

The device can be secured with the fingerprint sensor placed on the rear of the Hyve Buzz. It is also IPX4 certified which means the device can withstand water splashes. Talking about the Hyve Storm, it features a 5-inch HD display and is powered by the MediaTek MT6735 quad-core processor. It has 2GB of RAM and 16GB of onboard storage that can be further expanded via MicroSD card slot. The Hyve Storm has the same 13MP rear camera and a 5MP front camera as on Hyve Buzz. Unlike the Hyve Buzz, the Storm lacks the water resistance or the fingerprint sensor.

While the Hyve Storm is backed by a 2,000mAh battery, the Hyve Buzz sports a slightly bigger 2.500mAh battery. None of these devices have attracted the buyers and based on the import listing; the company has imported just 2,970 units of Hyve Storm and 500 units of Hyve Buzz. Let’s hope the upcoming smartphone to come with better specifications and build quality. As of now, there is no information about the specifications of the new device.
