As announced earlier, Meizu has officially launched its latest smartphone Meizu Pro 6s today in China. It is the successor to the Meizu Pro 6 that was launched in April this year. Now the Pro 6s will be the second smartphone in the Pro series and sports the 3D Touch as seen on its predecessor. Apart from few changes in the internals, the device looks similar to the Pro 6. On the bottom rear, we can find the ‘S’ which differentiates the Pro 6s from Pro 6, similar to the iPhones. The device comes with an all metal body with new curved Antenna band design. Though the latest iPhone 7 and 7 Plus also came with the same design, the Meizu Pro 6 is the first to launch with the similar design.

It sports a 5.2-inch Super AMOLED display with Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) resolution. Under the hood is the Helio X25 deca-core processor clocked at 2.5GHz and Mali T880 GPU. The Meizu Pro 6 is the also includes the same processor and at that time, the company announced that it was specially designed for Meizu. It also packs 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. There is a 12MP IMX386 CMOS sensor with f/2.0 aperture, PDAF, and laser autofocus on the rear. The ring shaped LED flash offers better images even in the low light conditions. This is also the same sensor that was used in the recently launched Meizu MX6. For selfies, it offers a 5MP front camera with f/2.0 aperture and 5P lens.

The included Cirrus Logix CS43L36 chip takes care of the HiFi audio output on this device. It supports dual SIM dual standby, and the connectivity options include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.1 LE, GPS, and a USB Type-C 3.1 port. The Pro 6s is backed by a 3.060mAh non-removable battery that can give more than a day of usage. The mTouch home button on the front includes fingerprint sensor and supports various gestures. It measures 147.7 x 70.8 x 7.3 mm and weighs 163 grams. The device will be available in Moonlight Silver, Rose Gold, Black Star, and Champagne Gold color options.
