OKWU Pi Smartphone Launched along with U-Tag for Rs. 5999 & Rs 990 respectively
OKWU has launched it Pi smartphone for a price of Rs. 5,999 in India along with its U-Tag which is priced at Rs. 990. Well, wondering what a U-Tag is? It is a Bluetooth tag that is connected to the user’s belongings and devices so that the user does not lose them. This new start-up has launched both these devices, and it is also one of the pioneer brands to augment loT technology in mobile phones.

OKWU Pi is an affordable handset that comes with a screen size of 5-inch with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels. Under the hood, there is a MediaTek 6735 Quad-core processor with a clocking speed of 1.2 GHz with 1GB RAM. The handset flaunts its body with a metal finish and also has a Fingerprint Sensor that can enhance the security levels of the device and moreover it can detect up to 10 fingers which make it easier to use.
The handset is a dual SIM variant and supports 4G VoLTE connectivity on them. There is a 2000 mAh non-removable battery on the back and comes with an onboard memory of 8GB which can be extended up to 32GB via MicroSD card. There is a dual rear camera setup on the device of 8MP + 2MP with PDAF, and it is accompanied with 2MP camera on the front for video calling.
Out of the box the device comes with Android 6.1 Marshmallow and the device measures 6.5mm in thickness and weighs 138 grams. The OKWU Pi will be competing against the devices like Lenovo A2010, Micromax Canvas A1, Samsung Tizen Z3. Infocus M260, Xolo Era 4G, Asus Zenfone Go and Lava P7 which are in similar price range.
