CloudFone Thrill Access with 4G LTE & Fingerprint Sensor Launched

The CloudFone launched its latest entry-level smartphone Thrill Access today in the Philippines market. The device comes with decent specifications and sports superior build quality compared to other devices in the similar price range. Earlier the company also launched the mid-range CloudFone Excite Prime and affordable Excite 2Geo 403Q smartphones. The Thrill Access is also the first smartphone from CloudFone to feature fingerprint sensor.

It sports a polycarbonate back cover and an oval shaped physical home button on the front. The Thrill Access features a 5-inch IPS display with HD (1280 x 720 pixels) resolution. It is powered by a MediaTek MT6735 quad-core processor clocked at 1.3GHz and includes 2GB of RAM. It has 16GB of internal storage that can be expanded upto 64GB via MicroSD card slot. The device supports dual SIM dual standby and offers 4G LTE but only limited to any one SIM.

On the camera front, there is 8MP primary camera with autofocus and a 5MP selfie camera. Both the cameras are assisted by an LED flash for capturing images even in the dark light conditions. Connectivity options include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS/A-GPS, USB OTG, and a MicroUSB 2.0 port. It is backed by a 2,500mAh battery which might give at least a single day of usage. It measures 8.4 mm thickness and comes with a textured finished powered button.

The latest Thrill Access runs on the latest Android 6.0 Marshmallow out of the box with customized UI laid on top. Apart from unlocking the device, the fingerprint sensor can be used for locking specific apps and call upto four contacts by scanning specific fingerprints.The Thrill Access comes in Silver, Gray, Gold, and Rose Gold colors. It is priced at 4,999 PHP (approx $107 / Rs. 7,200) and is available in the market. The company is also offering a protective case and Spotify-branded earphones free with every device.
