Lava to Launch X12 & X81 Smartphones in India at Rs 7,499 & Rs 10,499
The Indian smartphone manufacturer, Lava had launched some decent entry-level smartphones with every aggressive pricing. Now we got some exclusive information about two new smartphones Lava X12 & Lava X81 that will be launched in the next few days. Both the devices come with a polycarbonate body and runs on Android 6.0 marshmallow out of the box. As seen with earlier Lava devices, both the Lava X81 features a front facing LED flash for capturing selfies in low light conditions.
The Lava X12 comes with 5-inch HD (1280 x 720 pixels) IPS display and is powered by 1.0GHz quad-core processor. It has 2GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage along with a MicroSD card slot. The device sports an 8MP rear camera with autofocus and LED flash. On the other hand, the Lava X81 also features the same 5-inch HD IPS display and additionally it comes with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. Under the hood, the Lava X81 comes with an unknown quad-core processor clocked at 1.3GHz.
It sports 3GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage that can be further expanded via MicroSD card slot. In the camera department, it has a 13MP primary camera with dual tone LED flash and a 5MP selfie camera on the front. Along with front facing LED flash, the screen can be also used as a flash; it works same as the retina flash on iPhone 6S and 6S Plus. The Lava 81 is backed by a 2,700mAh battery that might give a single day of usage.
The Lava X12 and X81 will be launched on June 4th and June 6th respectively. While the Lava X12 will be priced at Rs. 7,499, the Lava X81 costs Rs. 10,499. Last week, the company unveiled the 5.5-inch Lava A79 running on Android 5.1 Lollipop. It is priced at Rs. 5,499 and c0mes with 1GB of RAM and 8GB of storage. Though it comes with dual SIM support, it lacks the 4G LTE connectivity. It has a 5MP rear camera, 2MP front camera, and a 2200mAh battery. Stay tuned for more updates!
