Meizu had launched four new smartphones Meizu M3, M3S, M3 Note, and Pro 6. While the Meizu Pro 6 is the flagship device with high-end specifications, the M3 series devices come with decent mid-range specifications and are priced very aggressively. The company is also expected to launch Meizu MX6 as the successor for last years Meizu MX5. While there are many rumors suggesting the device to be powered by Exynos 8890 SoC or the Helio X25 deca-core processor that was used in the Pro 6. Now the leaked information of the Helio X20 powered devices shows the MX6 to include Helio X20 deca-core processor.
As seen with the MX5, the MX6 might also come with an all metal body. It sports a 5.5-inch FullHD (1920 x 1080 pixels) AMOLED display while the Pro 6 came with a smaller 5.2-inch AMOLED display with 3D Touch support. It has 4GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. The device runs on the latest Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow out of the box with highly customized Flyme 5.6 OS laid on top. It supports dual SIM dual standby and offers 4G LTE connectivity with VoLTE. The device is backed by a massive 4,000mAh battery that can easily last more than a day of usage with mCharge 3.0 support.
The mTouch fingerprint sensor will be integrated into the oval shaped home button as seen on earlier Meizu devices. Coming to the camera department, the MX6 will sport a 20.7MP rear camera and an 8MP selfie camera on the front. Though there is official confirmation about these specifications, the device is expected to launch in China on July 19th.
