You are reading a story from PhoneRadar.

Lenovo‘s ZUK Edge smartphone is something which we are hearing a lot of lately. If you have been following the news, then you already know that the device was spotted online a couple of weeks back. Some leaked images/screenshots indicated that the device might be launching with a Snapdragon 821 SoC and 4GB RAM, etc. However, other than that, not much firm info was available about the device. However, the device has now been spotted online yet again and this time we do have some of the specs as well.

This new ZUK smartphone which has been spotted on Antutu benchmark website is listed as ZUK Edge. The listing goes with the previous rumours and now it is pretty much safe to say that the company is indeed going to launch a ZUK Edge variant. Now talking about the specs itself, it looks like the device will come with an FHD display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080. The device will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 SoC clocked at 2.35GHz.

The smartphone will be coupled with 6GB of RAM along with 64GB of internal storage. It will be running the latest version of Android i.e 7.0 Nougat out of the box. However, don’t expect the Chinese variant of this smartphone to come with a near stock Android. Now talking about the camera side of things, it will carry a 13MP sensor at the back along with a LED Flash and on the front there will be an 8MP front-facing selfie shooter. Looking at the available specs here, it looks like it will be a good offering.

Although we don’t have all the info about the device from the listing, if you connect this with the previous reports, it can be expected that the FHD display on the front will be 5.5″ in size. With that being said, none of this confirmed as of now. Given the fact that all these are just rumours, we suggest you to take all this info with a pinch of salt. On the other hand when you talk about the previous offerings from the company, they recently the new ZUK Z2 Plus smartphone in India.

Although in India, we don’t have the ZUK branding. With that being said, all the specs and features remains the same here. It comes with a Snapdragon 821 SoC inside and comes in 3GB/4GB variants. On the front, there is a 5″ IPS LCD panel with 441PPI with a 2.5D curved glass on top. Even the camera optics were quite good as it came with 13MP rear facing shooter and 8MP shooter respectively. Overall, for the price of below 20,000 INR, the Z2 Plus is a really good offering.

Given the popularity of the Z2 Plus because of it’s pricing, it can be expected that the company will be launching the ZUK Edge also here. However, pricing will be a huge factor here in India and hence we have to see if this smartphone ever launches on the first place. If you want to know more about the device, stay tuned to Phone Radar for more details on the same.
