Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 tablet spotted entering India in Indian import tracker
We all know Samsung as a company which launches a bunch of smartphones and tablets a year. Unlike few of the manufacturers who launch only one device, Samsung goes all in and launch a lot of devices across the globe. Now that we are almost at the end of 2016, the company has already launched a ton of devices this year but it looks like they are not going to stop. Yes, the company is now working on another new device and this time it is not a smartphone, it is a tablet.
Previously it has been reported that the company will be launching the new Tab S3 tablet. The tablet will be launched in two variants i.e. Wi-Fi (SM-T820) and LTE variant (SM-T825). Now according to the new reports, it looks like the launch is very near. The tablet has been spotted online for the first time while it was making its way here in India. It is expected that the device is here for the purpose of testing which is usually the case with most of their devices.
The Galaxy Tab S3 has been spotted in Indian import tracker Zauba and it shows multiple units of the same. Yes, multiple units of the Tab S3 LTE variant has been imported into India for the purpose of research and development. While we don’t know anything much about the device as of now from the listing, it is expected that the device will come with an AMOLED display. However, we do believe that we will get to know more about the device in coming weeks as well.
Talking about the device, it is worth noting that this is going to be a successor to the previously launched Galaxy Tab S2. Do make a note that two variants of the Tab S2 were launched by the company previously. One came with a 9.7″ display on the front and the other one with 8″ display. The 9.7″ variant had a resolution of 2048 x 1536 pixels and it was an AMOLED display as well. Talking about other specs, it was powered by an octa-core processor with Quad-core 1.9 GHz & Quad core 1.3 GHz.
This was coupled with 3GB of RAM along with 32/64GB of internal storage. This was expandable upto 128GB via a microSD card as well. The device was powered by a 5870 mAh battery internally. In terms of the camera, it had an 8 MP rear facing camera and 2.1 MP shooter on the front. While all this not impressive in terms of specs, but it was indeed a great tablet for the price. We expect the upcoming successor also to come with some similar set of specs. If in case you are interested to know more about the device, then stay tuned to Phone Radar for more details on the same.
