BlackBerry Priv Gets Android 6.0 Marshmallow Update
BlackBerry, the Canada-based smartphone maker has started to roll out a major software upgrade to its Android OS powered device, the Priv. Initially launched in the month of October last year, the first Android powered device from the brand was made available to its Indian audience in late January this year. The company is now soling out Android 6.0 Marshmallow update to the device.
Though, only the users who have purchased the device from company’s official online store, ShopBlackBerry would be first receiving this major Android update. While the device purchased from carriers should start receiving this update from May 3, which is not far. The brand recommends that its users download this update over Wi-Fi, since, it is quite large in size, thus would need a stable internet connection for the file to be downloaded completely without any error.
