Samsung Safety Screen App helps Children use Smartphones from Safe Distance

Samsung Screen Filter App

Kids these days are completely addicted to Smartphones & tablets and are spending more time using these electronic devices over playing outside. The solution to this is either stopping them from doing this, which is hard. Samsung has come up with a solution for this, though not a complete solution but does fix one part of the problem.

The major problem with the kids using devices is the viewing distance where they are very close to the screen that could lead to damage to their eyes/vision. Other problems that they could face are the computer vision syndrome, strain to the brain, and attacks to the cornea.

The application is available in the Google Play Store available for free, that you can download your phone right away. It works all the time in the background and works obviously for everyone & not just your kids. Using the facial recognition technology it recognizes the viewer’s distance from the screen & pop’s up a quick message about moving the device further back to ensure its safe for viewing. We tested this one the Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge & it worked perfectly while playing videos on the YouTube App. We had also tested this application on the YouTube for kids App that worked perfectly alerting the child.
