Motorola Droid Turbo 2 Gets Android 6.0 Marshmallow Update
Motorola, the popular smartphone manufacturer, has started to roll out the Android 6.0 Marshmallow update to its Droid Turbo 2 users in the United States. The phone, which comes with a shatterproof display, was launched in other regions such as India with name X Force. There the brand has already rolled out Marshmallow update since there are no restrictions they have to go through regarding carrier. While in the US, there are some regulations regarding carriers that the brand has to go to offer such OTA updates.
Even though the update in the United States was started to roll out couples of weeks ago, it is stated that this new roll out is for all Droid Turbo 2 users, by the David Schuster, company’s senior director of software product management. He took the announcement to his Google+ account. In the country, Verizon is selling these handsets so that you can check out on the company’s official page about the release notes. As well as Motorola has also stated what is changed with this upgrade.
