Docoss X1 Smartphone at Rs 888 could be a Scam – Beware & Book
After the controversial Freedom 251 Smartphone, which was supposed to come at a Rs 251 pricing, there now comes another brand who has price tagged their latest handset for an affordable price of Rs 888. The Docoss X1 is a smartphone that is announced today and company making it has already started to take booking for it via their website and a hotline number. The booking for this handset ends on April 29th at 10PM. And they have promised to deliver the handset starting May 2.
Earlier last month we had seen a similar news in this industry where a new brand out of nowhere announced a Smartphone at Rs 251. Ultimately they have been accused and also legal steps taken against that brand under multiple issues and we are not sure if they would be delivering the phones or not. The biggest problems with these kind of schemes is that no one can easily validate the same, while these brands put up full page advertisements in the newspapers giving a hint to the users that they are a well funded company. Later there are chances you could never see the devices in your life and it’s better to rather invest your money on something that’s actually not shady.
In this case, too we have never heard about a brand like this while no connection of the same with any other well-known company. There are many other similar options at a price of around Rs 1500 while this phone could be a reality considering the basic specifications we are talking about, and if the company receives a good number of orders ultimately reducing the overall pricing.
A few hours back when we had visited the website they had this website as coming soon page, with no information on the brand, the founders or the team behind it. If this were an information website, it would have been fine, but when they are taking money from the users, it’s Important to publicize all the information to gain trust from the users.
Docoss Company History
The Tagline of “Subsay Susta Bhee Subsay Acha Bhee” is a little out of context because cheap does not easily related to good, but we can only talk about that once we review the phone. According to a quick check this is a Jaipur based company while the domain name was registered two months back and it’s a private registration which means that there’s no information published about the domain owner, adding more doubts.
If you are planning to buy this phone, we would not suggest you do that since it’s probably a scam and a scheme launched on the lines of the Freedom 251 Smartphone from Ringing Bells.
