Now we got some information regarding the two smartphones named Galaxy C5 (SM-C5000) and Galaxy C7 (SM-C7000) that can be expected to be unveiled in the next couple of months. The Galaxy C5 was recently imported to India for internal testing while the Galaxy C7 specs are leaked by the Antutu listing. Talking about the Galaxy C5 (SM-C5000), it sports a 5.2-inch display, and we expect it to be of Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) resolution.
It will be powered by Snapdragon 617 MSM8950 octa-core processor coupled with Adreno 405 GPU. The device includes 4GB of RAM and runs on the latest Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow out-of-the-box. Unlike the Galaxy C5, most of the Galaxy C7 specifications are almost confirmed with the screenshot of Antutu benchmarking app. It comes with the model number SM-C7000 and is powered by Snapdragon 625 octa-core processor along with Adreno 506 GPU.
The Galaxy C7 comes with a Full HD resolution and there is no information regarding the screen size. There is 4GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. There might be a MicroSD card slot for storage expansion. In the camera department, there is a 16MP primary camera and an 8MP secondary camera on the front for selfies and video calls. As seen with the Galaxy C5, the Galaxy C7 also runs on the latest Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow with customized TouchWiz UI overlaid.
The Galaxy J5 (2016) and Galaxy J7 (2016) that are already available in the Chinese market are set to launch in the Indian market in the next few weeks. So we can expect the new Galaxy C series devices also to be launched at the same time as Galaxy J or might be unveiled later at an exclusive event. Stay tuned for more updates!
