YU Yureka Note YU6000 with 6″ Display & Fingerprint Sensor Launched
Last month, a new YU smartphone with the model YU6000 was spotted on GFXbench and Zauba revealing few important details. Though there is no official information, we expected the device to be named as YU Yureka 3. Now a new device with the same model is made available in the markets as YU Yureka Note.
While all the YU smartphones are launched via online stores, recently the company also made few of their devices available in the offline market as well. Now the YU Yureka Note is launched through offline stores rather than the online stores. The device comes with a larger 6-inch IPS display with Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) resolution.
It also features Gorilla Glass 3 on top for making the display scratchproof and shatterproof. Under the hood, the Yureka Plus is powered by MediaTek MT6753 coupled with Mali-T720 GPU and 3GB of RAM. There is 16GB of internal storage that can be further expanded via MicroSD card slot.
The Yureka Note runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop, and we expect it to come wth stock Android instead of Cyanogen OS. It features a 13MP rear camera with PDAF and dual LED flash. On the front is an 8MP selfie camera with wide angle lens for wide selfies. The device is backed by a 4,000mAh battery with fast charging support.
There is also a fingerprint sensor placed on the rear of the device. It supports dual SIM dual standby and offers 4G LTE along with other connectivity options. As of now, the device is available only in the black color. It is priced at Rs.14,999 and is available through offline stores. In December last year, YU had unveiled its flagship YU Yutopia powered by Snapdragon 810 octa-core processor.
The Around YU service which is recently renamed as Around might be available on the Yureka Note. Micromax also made the Around services available through the recently launched Canvas 6 and Canvas 6 Pro smartphones. Stay tuned for more updates!
