While Samsung is still enjoying the overwhelming response of its flagships Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge, the rumors of its upcoming flagship Samsung Galaxy Note 6 has already making the rounds. The latest leaks suggest that the Galaxy Note 6 will come in two different variants, and by this we can expect a Note 6 phablet with a curved display and will be called as Samsung Galaxy Note 6 Edge.

The last smartphone with a curved screen in the Note series was the Galaxy Note Edge that launched back in 2014. There is high possibility that the upcoming Galaxy Note 6 might feature a curved display. The Edge screen inevitably adds more innovation to the already loaded smartphone. There is also a possibility that the Note 6 might prefer Android N OS out of the box instead of the Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow. The Android N, which is still in the preview version, is expected to be announced at the Google’s I/O event in May.

The early rumors of the Galaxy Note 6 suggest that the smartphone might feature a 5.8-inch 2K Super AMOLED display and will come powered by Snapdragon 823 octa-core processor. The device is rumored to come with 6GB of RAM and 32GB/64GB/128GB storage variants. There is a possibility that the Galaxy Note 6 may also include microSD card slot which was missed out in the last years Galaxy Note 5. The company might include Galaxy S7’s camera in the upcoming Note 6, and a 3,220mAh battery is also a high possibility.

The Galaxy Note 6 will also get the iP68 certification like the Galaxy S7 series making the smartphone both water and dust resistant. The handset will also come with an upgraded S Pen adding more features to it. The company has confirmed none of the above details, so we advise you to take this with a proverbial pinch of salt. Stay tuned for the official information of the device that is expected to be unveiled in next couple of months.
