Honor V8 with 12MP Dual Rear Cameras & 4GB RAM Passes Through TENAA

Honor, the sub-brand of Huawei had announced the launch of the Honor V8 smartphone on May 10th. The device comes in three variants featuring the model numbers KNT-Al20, KNT-AL10, and KNT-TL10. It an all metal body and sports flagship specifications. As seen with the teaser images, the device comes with 12MP dual rear cameras with laser autofocus and dual LED flash.

The KNT-AL20 variant comes with a 5.7-inch Quad HD (2560 x 1440 pixels) display, and the other two variants are limited to Full HD (1920x 1080 pixels) resolution with same screen size. This is the first device from Honor to offers a Quad HD display and recently its parent company Huawei also confirmed to launch smartphones with Quad HD resolution. All the three variants run on Android 6.0 Marshmallow with customized EMUI overlaid.

The KNT-AL20 variant comes with 4GB RAM and 64GB of internal storage. While the other two variants KNT-AL10 and KNT-TL10 includes with 4GB RAM and 32GB of onboard storage. There is also a MicroSD card slot for storage expansion upto 128GB. The device comes powered by the Kirin 955/950 octa-core processor along with Mali T880 GPU. Along with the dual rear cameras, there is also an 8MP front camera fro selfie and video calls.

The devices support dual SIM dual standby and offer 4G LTE with VoLTE and other connectivity features like Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.2, NFC, GPS/GLONASS, and a USB Type-C port.

All the three variant comes with a 3,400mAh non-removable battery that also supports fast charging. It measures 157.00 x 77.60 x 7.75 mm and weighs 170 grams. Once the device is made available in China, we expect the company to bring the Honor V8 to the international markets including India.
