HomTom HT10 with Helio X20 SoC & 4GB RAM to Launch Soon
HomTom is a little known Chinese smartphone brand that is teasing the launch of a new high-end smartphone called as ‘HomTom HT10.’ Apart from the top Chinese brands, we have seen other brands launching high-end devices with affordable price tags. Recently, Vernee announced a new smartphone called Apollo which is powered by Helio X20 SoC along with 4GB RAM and 128GB storage.
Talking about the HomTom HT10, the device is powered by Helio X20 deca-core processor clocked at 2.3GHz. It features a 5.5-inch display with Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) resolution. The device also includes 4GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. There is no fingerprint sensor on this device but comes with a second generation IRIS scanner for making the HomTom HT10 a secure device.
It runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow out-of-the-box. The device supports dual SIM and offers 4G LTE connectivity. In the camera department, there is a 21MP rear camera with dual LED flash and an 8MP selfie camera on the front. The power button along with the volume rocker are placed on the right edge of the device. On the bottom edge, we can find the MicroUSB 2.0 port with speaker grills placed on either side.
The HT10 also supports HotKnot, the MediaTek’s variant of NFC for quick transferring of files. Connectivity options includeG LTE along with Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, OTG, and a MicroUSB port. As of now there is no information regarding the pricing and the availability of the device, but we expect the device to be launched in the next few weeks.
