Huawei P9 & P9 Plus with Leica Lens Announced in London
Huawei, the Chinese mobile giant with big presence in Europe has finally unveiled the much awaited P9 smartphone, a successor to its P8 handset. Sporting quite a similar design on the rear side that looks like a Nexus 6P, the camera bump and fingerprint sensor, although, the camera modules you see on the rear side is a dual lens setup, which is co-engineered with Leica, the professional camera lens maker.
There are two handsets that company has revealed at stage setup in London; the P9 and P9 Plus. Both would be sporting the same camera setup, but of course there would be a size difference. The P9 handset comes with a 5.2-inch Full HD display, offers 96% color saturation when compared with 72% on iPhone 6S display. The brightness level is set at 500 nits with 20 backlight LEDs backing up the display, thus appealing the sunlight legibility.
