Meizu M3 Note Camera Tips, Tricks & Useful Options
Meizu has launched a new smartphone, i.e., Meizu M3 Note price starting from 799 Yuan. This device is the successor of M2 Note, which was launched last year. The device comes with its own UI, i.e., Flyme 5.0 out of the box. The device comes with an amazing 13 MP rear camera with f/2.2 aperture and includes face detection, auto focus, and dual-tone LED flash. The additional features of the camera include Geo-tagging, touch Focus, HDR, Panorama and 1080p video recording @ 30fps. The front camera on the device captures better selfies because of its 5 MP shooter with and f/2.0 aperture and does support 1080p. Camera Interface:
The Camera UI on the device simple and easy to understand for the users as it comes many attractive options directly on the screen. If you are using the rear camera then, the status bar includes Flash button, Timer, Filters, Flip option and Camera Settings Cog. Switching between front and the rear camera is simple where you need just to swipe your finger from top to bottom or vice-versa to flip the cam on your device. If you change to the front camera then flash button on the settings cog will be changed to invert button. The bottom line of the camera includes the mode on left, Capture button in the center and Gallery on right.
Camera Modes:
The device comes with some interesting camera modes depending upon the type of usage. The camera modes option is on the left side of the capture button, and you need to tap on it if you want to change the mode on your device. The different camera modes include Auto Mode, Manual, Video, Beauty to capture better selfies, Panorama to capture 360 Video, Light Field, Slow Video, Macro Shot option and Gif Mode to created image animated. These modes can be changed as per the use requirement.
Front Camera:
The device comes with 5 MP front camera which captures detailed selfies on this budget-centric smartphone. The device comes with eleven different camera filters which can be used before you capture an image on your device with a live preview. The Filters include the following Colors, i.e., Maroon, Black, Film, Oxidation, Absinthe Green, Lilac, Azure, Virid, Wood, Olive Yellow and Pale blue.
Camera Settings:
The Camera settings on this device include the HDR mode, Gridlines, Level Gauge, Metering Separation, Time Mark, Location, Voice Control, Photo Size and Save first to SD card. These options must be enabled on your device if you want to use them. If you are using the video mode then another option, i.e., Video Size is displayed in the settings where you can change the front and back camera resolution on your device.
The photo Size Options for front and rear camera are as follows.
Rear Camera
- 3M 2560 x 1440 (16:9)
- 8M 3264 x 2448 (4:3)
- 13M 4208 x 3120 (4:3)
Front Camera
- 2M 1920 x 1088 (16:9)
- 3M 2048 x 1536 (4:3)
- 5M 2592 x 1944 (4:3)
The camera on the device supports the Full HD video recording and must be enabled on your device depending on your usage. Following are the video size options on your smartphone.
Back Camera
- 480P 640 x 480 (4:3)
- 720P 1280 x 720 (16:9)
- 1080P 1920 X 1080 (16:9)
Front Camera
- 480P 640 x 480 (4:3)
- 720P 1280 x 720 (16:9)
- 1080P 1920 X 1080 (16:9)
Note: You need to change the Mode and camera resolution as per your usage and camera always open with the default Auto Mode on your device.
Once the image is captured, the image can be edited from the gallery by tapping on the edit button. The edit option comes with various filters & adjust option which includes brightness, contrast, temperature, Saturation, Halation, and Balance. This also comes with some additional tools like blur, brush, text, shape, and mosaic using which you can easily customize your captured image. As the bottom right, you will find a crop button at the end of the screen which includes crop, straighten, rotate & mirror. Once you are done with editing, you can save your image by tapping on the Save button which is at the top right of the screen. In case if you want to remove the editing and want to re-edit the same image then you can tab on reset button which will make your image fresh for an edit.
If you have captured a Selfie using the front camera, then your image comes with a makeover option where you can completely customize your image. The customizing options include facial adjustments like skin tone, face size, Big Eye, Eye Lash, Skin, Lipstick, Eyeliner, Eye Shadow, Big Eye+. It also comes with one tap make-over which will automatically adjust the image as per the type of mode/filter selection.
Note:
The makeover option is only applicable for the images captured using the front camera.
