OnePlus One Gets Cyanogen 13 OS Based Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow Update
OnePlus, the Chinese mobile startup has started to send the Marshmallow based Cyanogen 13 OS updates to its OnePlus One users. The first ever handset from the company, which was launched almost two years back is officially getting the major update. Earlier, Carl Pei, Co-Founder of the company took this announcement to his Twitter handle, where he stated that Final testing is going on to release the Marshmallow for the OnePlus One handset.
Now until this morning, there is no official statement about the update and change-log as the company usually do. But users on Twitter have started to post screenshots of the updates. One such user (Cosmic Paldin) posted a screenshot where it can be seen that CM 13.0 (ZNH0EAS26M) is an incremental update, which will upgrade the OnePlus One smartphone with Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow, which is the latest version of the OS. The size of his update is 508MB, so we recommend you download it via Wi-Fi network, but not through mobile data.

Along with that expect some critical security fixes, improved performance, product upgrade and new features. There is no changelog released about this version, so if you’ve also got this Marshmallow love on your OnePlus One, let us know your feedback and what all changes you’re experiencing on this latest build. And if you haven’t got this update yet, then you’d have to be patient as it’s been rolling out to users randomly.
Recently, the company also released Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow based OxygenOS 3.0 update to it’s OnePlus 2 users.
