Meizu Pro 6 with 5.2″ 3D Press Display & Helio X25 SoC Officially Launched in China
As announced earlier, Meizu has officially launched the flagship Meizu Pro 6 in China. This is the second device launch in this month, last week the company launched the affordable Meizu M3 Note. The Meizu Pro 6 is only the second device is the Pro lineup while the Pro 5 that was launched last year is the first device. We already got most of the details from the leaks, and the company’s officials confirm few of them.
The Pro 6 features a 2.5D 5.2-inch Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) Super AMOLED display with 3D Touch support called as ‘3D Press’. It has very thin side bezels, to precise they measure just 0.715mm thickness. The Pro 6 is powered by Helio X25 deca-core tri-cluster processor clocked at 2.5GHz and coupled with Mali-T880 GPU and 4GB of RAM. The Helio X25 is the enhanced version of Helio X20 processor. It has 32GB and 64GB storage variants which also include MicroSD card slot for expanding additionally upto 128GB.

It supports dual SIM dual standby and offers Cat.6 4G LTE along with VoLTE. The mBack home button on the front of the device also includes the mTouch fingerprint sensor. The device is backed by a 2,560mAh battery that supports mCharge 3.0 fast charging where the battery can be charged from 0% to 100% in just 60 minutes. It measures 7.25mm thickness and is the most slimmest smartphone ever from the brand.
In the camera department, it has a 21.16MP Sony IMX230 rear camera sensor with PDAF and laser autofocus. It is also assisted by a ring-shaped flash with 10 LED’s. On the front is a 5MP front-facing camera for selfies and video calls. The volume rocker and the power button are placed on the right edge of the device. The Pro 6 comes with a USB 3.1 Type-C port supporting fast charging; the Snapdragon 820 powered HTC 10 is the only other device to feature USB 3.1 Type-C port. It will be available in Gold, Grey and Silver colours.
