Meizu Pro 6 with Helio X25 SoC & 21MP Camera to Launch on April 13th
The Meizu Pro 6 will be officially launched by the company tomorrow in China. Recently, Meizu also launched the affordable Meizu M3 Note with decent specifications and is priced very aggressively when compared to the LeEco Le 1S and Xiaomi Redmi Note 3. Talking about Pro 6, we already the first looks of the device from the leaked images and also the specifications details and benchmark scores.
Meizu Pro 6 will be the successor to Pro 5 that was launched last year. The leaked Antutu benchmark score shows the Meizu Pro 6 managed to score 91,165 which higher than the 86,322 of Pro 5. On the other side, Xiaomi Mi 5 topped the list with its score of 1,36,875 while the Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge is limited to the second position by scoring 1,34,599.
Talking about the specifications, the Pro 6 comes with a 5.2-inch Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) Super AMOLED display and 3D Touch support. Unlike the iPhone 6S and 6S Plus, we expect the 3D touch functions to be limited to just system apps as seen on Gionee S8. Under the hood, the device will be powered by the Helio X25 deca-core tri-cluster processor clocked at 2.5GHz and coupled with Mali-T880 GPU and 4GB of RAM.
From the leaked information, we also expect one variant of the Pro 6 to feature 6GB of RAM. It runs on Android 6.0 marshmallow with the latest Flyme OS on top. The device will be launched in 32GB, 64GB, and 128GB storage variants. It supports dual SIM dual standby and offers 4G LTE connectivity. The mBack home button on the front of the device also includes mTouch fingerprint which can also be used for virtual payments.
In the camera department, it has a 21MP PDAF rear camera assisted by a ring-shaped flash with 10 LED’s. For selfie lovers, there will be a 5MP front-facing camera. The volume rocker and the power button are placed on the right edge of the device. It comes with a USB Type-C port that might support fast charging.
